Nature of the Heart: Awakening Our Innate Wisdom and Compassion

In this ongoing series, Nina & Chandra weave together mystical stories, visualizations, meditations, mantra repetition, and singing chants.

About this event

Sunday, May 8, 2022 | 6–8pm ET | $20 or $30 ticket options | Live-streamed via Zoom

Chandra and Nina share a profound appreciation for and interest in the complementary wisdom and devotional traditions of Tibet and India honoring the divine feminine. In this ongoing series they weave together mystical stories, visualizations, meditations, mantra repetition, and singing chants to offer an immersive experience of the many pathways available to us as we explore the feminine creative power that underlies our inner and outer nature.

In this May gathering, in celebration of Mother’s Day, Nina will share some teachings and stories from women saints who as householders were able to sustain a dedicated practice, made their whole lives a practice and offering to benefit everyone around them through their enlightened activities. She will also lead chants to the Great Mother Goddess.

Chandra will share teachings on the Great Mother, Yum Chenmo, also called Prajna Paramita in Buddhism. The Great Mother is the loving embrace of realization of our true nature, the womb of totality, genetrix of the awakened state. She is the experiential release into the bliss of emptiness. We will celebrate the Great Mother through teachings, meditation, and chanting of her mantra. Chandra will share the connection between Prajna Paramita and Mother Tara.

All registered participants receive a recording of the session post-event. Open to all!
