n this ongoing series, Nina & Chandra weave together mystical stories, visualizations, meditations, mantra repetition, and singing chants.
Chandra and Nina share a profound appreciation for and interest in the complementary wisdom and devotional traditions of Tibet and India honoring the divine feminine. In this ongoing series they weave together mystical stories, visualizations, meditations, mantra repetition, and singing chants to offer an immersive experience of the many pathways available to us as we explore the feminine creative power that underlies our inner and outer nature.
In this April gathering, Chandra will share stories about the great eighth century female teacher, Yeshe Tsogyal, who is considered the mother of Buddhism in Tibet. Known as the Princess of Karchen, she became the spiritual partner and main lineage holder of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche in Tibetan) who was the founder of the Nyingma (Elders) lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Yeshe Tsogyal’s life story is filled with hardship, humanity, and spiritual realization, and it offers us a glimpse into the life of an extraordinary woman who devoted her life to her spiritual path. Chandra will share a guided meditation from Yeshe Tsogyal’s own teachings on Dzogchen, the Great Perfection.
We will be celebrating Chaitra Navaratri which is the spring festival of Devi Navaratri, also celebrated as the appearance time for Nina’s guru Sri Siddhi Ma. Nina will share some stories and chants in honor of the goddess.
All registered participants receive a recording of the session post-event.
